Meeting 1: Role 1 Questioner
-From your perspective when you reached page nine, do you think August should go to school? What are the pros and cons?
-Is there a time where you felt different and everyone pretended they didn't notice, but you know they did?
-Are people nice to "different" people because they feel sorry for you or are they really nice?
-Why do you think August wants to go to school?
-Is Summer a genuine to August?
-Why does Jullian act so cure towards August? How does August handle it?
Meeting 2: Role 2 Connector:
August sister is feelings of having to do everything for herself her whole life is like: having a baby sibling, having a sibling with a disability. My sister felt this way as I am six years younger than her and she felt like when I was born that she had to be more responsible for herself, clean her own room, play by herself instead of with mom and generally be more independent at a young age.
Via wants to feel like she is part of a normal family where everyone does not look at them when they walk down the street. Although it does not look like this to the rest of the world, but to a child when your parents get divorced and your parents have new partners you may feel like you want everything to be back to normal. My husbands parents got divorced when he was in grade 4 and all his friends families were married and he always wanted things to go back to "normal".
Meeting 3: Role 3 Literary Luminary:
"Everyone was staring at him. All the girls at my table were whispering about him.Julian had nicknamed him the Zombie Kid, and that's what everyone was calling him." page 119
"I looked over at where August was across the room, talking to our moms. I wasn't about to break my solid oath that I wouldn't tell anyone about what he overheard at Halloween, but I felt bad for Jack." page 132
Meeting 4: Role 4 Word Wizard
[email protected] : His email address shows Auggies love for his dog Daisy and forshadows how distressful it is when the dog dies.

Skeleton Hill: Discussed by Julian who wants to have a race down it. Interesting because of Julian's evil character.
Meeting 5: Role 5 Summarizer:
Justin Via's new boyfriend comes to the house and introduces himself to Auggie and Jack. Justin is shocked by Auggie's appearance even though Via warned him. Justin played is very cool though. he talks about how he feels about Via, her appearance and how she is different from other girls. Via shows how it can be difficult for her having Auggie as a brother. He lies and says he is not shocked. On Valentines day he gives Via a heart necklace, she gives him a home made bag. He thinks she is so cool. He meets her parents. Her parents are very nice to him. At the restaurant every ignores the attention that Auggie brings. Although, Justin points out that Via is a girl who see's everything. Her parents take a real interest in Justin and his music even more than his parents. Justin gets the lead in a play. Via doesn't tell her family about the play so that they wont bring Auggie.
Meeting 6: Role 6 Researcher:
August is having hearing problems and is being treated for having white noise. White noise is a constant background noise that drowns out other sounds. It can be meaningless or a distracting co-motion. It is an uneven mixture of sound waves that extend over a wide frequency range. A constant background noise that drowns out all other sounds. It can be treat with special hearing aids.
Meeting 7: Role 1 Word Wizard:
Polyphonic Spree: The Polyphonic Spree is a choral symphonic pop rock band from Dallas, Texas that was formed in 2000 by Tim DeLaughter.
Seismic Shift:of enormous proportions or having highly significant consequences .
Meeting 8: Role 2 Connector:
During this section Auggie goes to camp on a nature retreat. He goes through a lot of scary things that many students do when they go to camp for the first time. He loses his special hearing aids. He also makes connections with people who he did not think that he ever would. This experience reminds me of when I was a child and went to band camp. It was a new experience and I was really nervous. There were many other kids that I did not know and I had to perform in front of my peers which was really scary.
